Lizzie Kanetsky

Lizzie joined the team in April 2022 and has demonstrated outstanding horsemanship skills, a great ability to train both horses and volunteers, good organizational skills as well as possessing a positive, outgoing personality. She has responsibility for all aspects for the Ranch from horse training, running volunteer sessions, horse health, riding lessons, and a whole lot more. Lizzie will be working with our Board and volunteers to develop new and exciting ranch programs for children, youth and adults. She and Dr Sarah Wooten, our Ranch Manager, are helping us build great relationships with the Summit County and Colorado horse community, our volunteers and our local partners. Lizzie has a B.S in Equine Science from CSU, has shown versatility ranch horses, has been involved in colt starting and natural horsemanship training and has worked for WYO Quarter Horses in training and sales management. She was also a young horse trainer at Singleton Ranches. Lizzie grew up in Summit County alongside horses, was in a 4H program, started the English Riding Club at CSU and has worked at several guest riding/day riding outfits in Colorado and California.
