Cubrina Friedman

Cubrina Friedman has been a part of the Summit County community since 2017, after growing up along Colorado’s Front Range. A dedicated volunteer and equine enthusiast, she brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the horse industry—including drill team riding, trick riding, and four years working with a Western Pleasure trainer in San Diego. Her own horses, Sunder and Gypsy, are proud members of Summit Valley Horse Center’s Reliable Herd.

Cubrina founded an equine thermal imaging company focused on pre-diagnostic care for performance and companion horses recovering from injury. She also brings nonprofit experience from her time with the ALS NeverSurrender Foundation.

Cubrina is passionate about equine welfare and community education, and she is excited to contribute her knowledge and energy to the Summit Valley Horse Center. You’ll often find her at the ranch with her husband Nic, their two young children, Ainsley and Logan.
